Seperateness

This is a very cool original animation by Louis Lefebvre which chronicles the evolution of Consciousness from its inanimate state into human form and then back through spiritual seeking to Oneness. Its inspiration is the spiritual teaching of Wayne Liquorman and Ramesh S. Balsekar.

“By birth one is a sudra (lowest caste), by the purificatory process one becomes a dvija (higher caste), by study of the Vedas one becomes a vipra, and one who knows Brahman is a brahmana.”

When I say “love” the sound comes out of my mouth

When I say “love” the sound comes out of my mouth and it hits the other person’s ear, travels through this byzantine conduit in their brain through their memories of love or lack of love. And they register what I’m saying and they say yes they understand, but how do I know? Because words are inert. They’re just symbols. They’re dead. You know? And so much of our experience is intangible. So much of what we perceive cannot be expressed. It’s unspeakable. And yet, you know, when we communicate with one another and we feel that we have connected and we think we’re understood I think we have a feeling of almost spiritual communion. And that feeling may be transient, but I think it’s what we live for. – Waking Life

DISEASE of the mind

The Great Way is not difficult for those who have no preferences.
When love and hate are both absent, everything becomes clear and undisguised.

Make the smallest distinction, however,  and heaven and earth are set infinitely apart.

If you wish to see the truth, then hold no opinion for or against.

The struggle of what one likes and what one dislikes is the DISEASE of the mind.
